Here you can find a little information about me, Garfield Lucas and GarfNet, the site I have helped to develop since 1995-08-18. Actually the site dates back even further than that because its pilot ran on a subdomain another now-defunct domain.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I am a firm supporter of the Open Source movement. I have always taken the view that <em>you<\/em>, the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">user<\/span>, not the large foreign IT corporations should choose what <em>you<\/em> run on <em>your<\/em> computer, and who has access to it.
