Yes this really is a depressing little gismo. It is a JavaScript-based mini counter that counts up from the start of the year and counts down to Christmas. Where did all that time go, eh? Anyway, if you really want to watch your life tick by, then this is the one to watch!
Still, spare a thought for the geese. Christmas is always a particularly grim time for geese!
