Welcome to my little corner of cyberspace. Here you can find a little information about me, Garfield Lucas and GarfNet, the site I have helped to develop since 1995-08-18. Actually the site dates back even further than that because its pilot ran on a subdomain another now-defunct domain.
I am a firm supporter of the Open Source movement. I have always taken the view that you, the user, not the large foreign IT corporations should choose what you run on your computer, and who has access to it. Equally important is that the user has access to the source code so that it corporations cannot plant hidden back-doors, corporate spyware and other hidden nasties.
