While I am in Wales, I thought I’d drive an extra few km to see my uncle in Brechfa.

It’s rather pleasant living opposite Southampton Common. Always lots to see and photograph, especially on a nice warm summer’s day like today. These shots were taken using a tiny Lumix DMC-LX1 digital camera. Pretty good results, I think, all things considered.
Today I took a wander through the Southampton suburb of Shirley, mostly to photograph the graffiti in a little alley called Harrison’s Cut. Today, I was fortunate enough to be invited to the Pécs Organ Factory, to take some pictures of the very fine work that goes on there.
Today we took a boat trip from from Mui Wo to Cheung Chau, and had a bit of a wander.

I eas feeling particularly poorly today. Do I gave my girlfriend my camera and sent her off to take a few snaps of the Giant Buddha nest to Lin Po monastery, high up in he Lantau hills.

Walking back to Pécs through the snow. Today, even the rougher prts of town have a strange beauty, now they’re covered with snow.
Girlfriend and I stayed overnight at the Batthyány Kastélyszálló, a few kilometres from Pécs. Interesting place – it was lovely outside, but a bit rough inside, with plaster literally peeling off the walls. Still, it was good fun.

Today we took a road trip n the MX5 to the Studland Peninsula and Sandbanks, in Dorset.
Portsmouth’s Highbury College shortly after it received a fairly major refurbishment.
Today we caught the train down to Lisbon Beach, Portugal. Very pleasant it was too.
