This is a list of METAR stations around the planet. They supply meteorological information to various VOLMET stations broadcasting on the aircraft band. 

The countries are denoted by a ISO 3166-1-Alpha-2 code taken from http://www.iso.org/iso/en/prods-services/iso3166ma/index.html and the stations are denoted by a four-letter code. You can also find a list of country codes here at GarfNet, at

  2. This list is believed to be pretty accurate as of 2024-07-10, but is supplied as-is with no warranty whatsoever. If you hit heavy weather and crash your aeroplane into a mountain because you were referring to the incorrect METAR, you cannot blame us for your mistake!
