St Cross, WInchester
Decided to stop by St Cross, just outside Winchester, and take a few snaps.
Lens repair – Tamron 14mm-150mm
I’m ashamed to admit that I managed to drop my camera c/w my favourite 14mm-150mm Tamron super-zoom lens yesterday. I failed to secure the camera correctly to the tripod and it fell crashing to the ground, lens-first. Fortunately the camera, a tiny µ4/3 Lumix DMC-GX7, seemed unharmed. En route to Ronchamp Chapel
Wandered a bit further south today, mostly to visit Le Corbusier´s Ronchamp Chapel “Notre Dame du Haut” But we saw some other quite interesting things on the way including some classic French cars in remarkably good condition.
Osaka Japan
Decided to take a break from Hong Kong and spend a few days in and around Osaka, Japan. It rained quite hard today, so we took a riverboat trip. Also found some LED geese.

Cannot upgrade from Feisty to Gutsy
2007-10-18 saw the release of the latest Ubuntu & Kubuntu Linux, version 7.10, also known as Gutsy. Unfortunately a number of users are having difficulties with the upgrade.
