Went out to the New Forest to visit my mother, in the little red MX5. While we were there, I took the opportunity top gather some images of Lepe Beach and the now dilapidated Langley Tavern. I also took a few snaps of my shiny new Eton S350DL multiband radio.
They say there is nothing like a healthy breakfast. And this is nothing like a healthy breakfast. And it was around most normal people’s tea time. But I love a bloody good fry-up from time-to-time, and this one was truly delicious. 🙂
Today I left Northern Ireland, crossed the border into the Republic at County Monaghan.

I’m far too tight-fisted ever to pay to go on a fairground ride. But I do rather enjoy photographing them. So I wandered across the common today with my Olympus C2500L to grab some snaps of the Southampton Common Funfair.
By which I mean testing my Tamron 500mm Catadioptric lens. It was a nice warm reasonably clear day today, peaking 24°C. So about an hour before sunset I took my Tamron, fitted on the front of my µ4/3 Lumix DMC-GX7 up to my favourite vantage point on Portsdown Hill, Hampshire. This is a wonderful place…
