St Mary’s Church Sennicotts

Driving through the West Sussex countryside on my way back Chichester, I spotted this tiny stone Chapel, literally right in the middle of nowhere. The board outside read St Mary’s Church Sennicotts. But the odd thing is there is no other building near. Nearest building I could see was about 400 metres away.

The church’s construction is unusual too. It has large and very sharp sliced of flint in the mortar joints.

Testing my “monostick”

It was also a good opportunity to test my recently constructed monostick – an aluminium walking stick with an Arca Swiss type camera mount on the top. I’m pleased to report that it worked a treat! My little DMC-GX7 c/w 12-32mm Vario lens clipped on the top perfectly. Despite the dim winter light, I was able to grab a few quite good snaps.
