Fishguard, Wales to Rosslare, Ireland in MGF
ByGarfI left my uncle’s farm in Brechfa, Carmarthen early this morning and drove the MGF to Fishguard. After a bit of a wait, I boarded a ferry to Rosslare, Ireland. It was a choppy crossing and cars moved about a bit on the car deck, where the MGF acquired a small dent.

ByGarfI’m not a big fan of computer games. Generally I take the view that computers are difficult enough already, without installing software that effectively makes them even more recalcitrant. Lens repair – Tamron 14mm-150mm
ByGarfI’m ashamed to admit that I managed to drop my camera c/w my favourite 14mm-150mm Tamron super-zoom lens yesterday. I failed to secure the camera correctly to the tripod and it fell crashing to the ground, lens-first. Fortunately the camera, a tiny µ4/3 Lumix DMC-GX7, seemed unharmed. Even more fortunate, I generally I use those…

ByGarfI like taking photos. Trouble is that I’m a tad trigger-happy with the shutter button. Over the last few decades I have captured around ½ million of my own digital images and about 33,000 scanned from 35mm neg. On top of that there are around 45,000 edited/retouched images – not to mention a thousand or…
