Girlfriend and I stayed overnight at the Batthyány Kastélyszálló, a few kilometres from Pécs. Interesting place – it was lovely outside, but a bit rough inside, with plaster literally peeling off the walls. Still, it was good fun.

Today we visited Hungary’s 10th largest city, Szombathely, to visit a chap who has invented a rather nifty LED ring flash unit.

I had my wallet stolen and spent the last few days at the police station and various banks. Didn’t feel much like taking photos. But at least my camera wasn’t stolen, so I’m out taking pictures again.

A few snaps of the Isle of Grain off the coast of Kent, south-east England. It’s not actually an island any more and forms part of the Hoo peninsula. The the area is mostly marshland and is an important habitat for a number of wild wetland birds.
A client has lent me a Palm Treo to play with for a few weeks. The Palm Treo is quite an interesting device, it combines the functionality of a mobile phone with a Palm Pilot. It’s built in camera is rather poor and its design needs some work. But I suspect what I have in…
