Batteries – dry & alkaline international equivalents
This is a list of commonly found batteries, their equivalents, physical dimensions in millimetres, nominal open-circuit voltage and their mass in grams. Please note that battery voltage and capacity depends on formulation. In the IEC battery designation system, the first letter of the battery code defines the formulation. Please see Battery formulation – IEC codes for more information. This letter is denoted by the * character in this table.
