Long spring weekend in Paris, day 4
Decided to take my new girlfriend and a Fuji S2 Pro to Paris for a long weekend. Last day here sadly, though we did manage to visit Le Louvre and grab a few nice street shots too.
Camera: Fuji S2 Pro.
This is how I converted three left-over cheapie (£60 for a box of ten, delivered) 20 watt daylight LED flood lights for use in the studio. The basic tools you need:- Vernier or digital caliper, M10 ISO metric taps. Suitable spanner (17mm AF). Bench vice. Electrician’s screwdriver and wire strippers, to make the electrical connections….
Just taken the MX5 for a little spin across the New Forest. Naturally, we made plenty of stops for photos.
Geese always played an important role at Christmas. By Sarah Keen.
Took a little road trip with my girlfriend to visit Guildford Cathedral.
I always rather fancied a decent 500mm catadioptric lens. I bought a cheap Korean one off eBay a few years back and frankly it was not very good. But the old Tamron 500mm mirror lens has quite a good reputation. And as luck would have it, one turned up cheap on eBay a few weeks…
A few slightly shaky snaps as I returned to Mui Wo this evening.
