The Candovers and Alresford
Today we took a day trip to the Candovers in Hampshire with old friends. While there, I took a few snaps of Church of the Virgin Mary, Preston Candover. We the went on to Alresford.
Solar eclipse
Went to try to photograph today’s solar eclipse. I have to say I’m not 100% happy with the results. The mix of a somewhat unsophisticated lens, and a crude homemade filter resulted in lots of unwanted artefacts on the images. I cleaned up the worst ones in GIMP, but everything else is pretty much SooC…

Ran into some quite heavy rain today, as I drove around the Saverne countryside in the little red MGF, accompanied by former New Millennium features editor, Sarah Keen. Camers: Canon Digital Ixus.
