Collecting a New MGF
The old MGF was very pretty but incredibly unreliable. Eventually after a fight, MG Rover swapped it for a new one. Today we went to collect it. Camera: the tiny Canon Digital Ixus.

Bumblebees 2025
Lots of bumblebees again this year. Sadly not seen many red tailed ones (bombus lapidarius) But there are a heck of a lot of white tailed bumblebees (bombus lucorum). Escape to Hong Kong II – Kowloon
Wandered into Kowloon today, camera at the ready. I’ve always been particularly fascinated by Canton Road, where there are tiny shops packed to the ceilings with engineering bits, bearings springs etc. And other emporia with distinctly amusing names.
