Sandbanks, Dorset
Today we took a road trip n the MX5 to the Studland Peninsula and Sandbanks, in Dorset.
Day 13 of our trip to Lisbon. Jst a couple of snaps around the newer parts of the city.
I don’t have a TV licence – I don’t intend to buy one either. We have a nice big roof mounted TV aerial which I have repurposed for much better things. For a start, it receives FM and DAB radio perfectly adequately. We’re only a 20 km crow’s flight from the hefty Rowridge VHF transmitter….
My girlfriend was working for the London Golf Show and asked me if I’d care to join her in for a few days ad take lots of pictures of the show. Naturally I agreed. These are a few snaps as we arrived the night before the show began, at the Excel Centre, London.
For reasons I will never understand, it seems the United States has just re-elected 34-times convicted criminal and adjudicated rapist Donald J Trump as its president. As a Brit, sadly there is nothing I can do about this. All I can offer the world is a few futile acts of defiance, whilst mercilessly ridiculing jumped-up…
It’s a beautiful spring day here in south east Hampshire. And it’s dead quiet thanks to the Coronavirus lockdown. And the northern sky that normally liberally criss-crossed with vapour trails is a perfect clear sky blue, with no aircraft within 50 km or more.
I had a studio photoshoot booked for last weekend. Unfortunately, my model was poorly and it was too late to book another. Consequently, I was in the unusual situation of actually having a free day, whilst also being in an experimental frame of mind. So I thought it might be rather good fun to try…
